The Way 2 Life
  Some Old Testament verses foretelling about Christ

Here are some verses that Old Testament Prophecies foretell of the events and coming of the Messiah/Jesus Christ which were written hundreds of years before His coming as the SON of GOD. The New Testament is the fulfillment of those prophecies that were prophesized hundreds of years before in the Old Testament.

I recommend all you Jews who are still waiting for your Messiah to read these verses. He has already come and you were blinded, now is the day of Salvation for both Jews and Gentiles, This is the time to embrace Jesus Christ in these last days.

 See: Micah 5:2, Isaiah 9:6-7, Isaiah 61:1-3, Psalm 118:22-24,26-27, Isaiah 56:1, Isaiah 53, Deuteronomy 18:15,18-19, Psalms 2:7-9, Isaiah 49:6, Isaiah 7:14, Psalms 22:1,18.

 “But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah,
Though you are little among the thousands of Judah,
Yet out of you shall come forth to Me
The One to be Ruler in Israel,
Whose goings forth are from of old,
From everlasting.”
Micah 5:2

For unto us a Child is born,
Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Of the increase of His government and peace
There will be no end,
Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom,
To order it and establish it with judgment and justice
From that time forward, even forever.
The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.
Isaiah 9:6-7

“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me,
Because the Lord has anointed Me
To preach good tidings to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives,
And the opening of the prison to those who are bound;
To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord,
And the day of vengeance of our God;
To comfort all who mourn,
To console those who mourn in Zion,
To give them beauty for ashes,
The oil of joy for mourning,
The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness;
That they may be called trees of righteousness,
The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.”
Isaiah 61:1-3, Isaiah 53

22 The stone which the builders rejected
Has become the chief cornerstone.
23 This was the Lord’s doing;
It is marvelous in our eyes.
24 This is the day the Lord has made;
We will rejoice and be glad in it.
Psalm 118:22-24

26 Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!
We have blessed you from the house of the Lord.
27 God is the Lord,
And He has given us light;
Psalm 118:26-27

“Keep justice, and do righteousness,
For My salvation is about to come,
And My righteousness to be revealed.
Isaiah 56:1

The Sin-Bearing Messiah

53 Who has believed our report?
And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?
For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant,
And as a root out of dry ground.
He has no form or comeliness;
And when we see Him,
There is no beauty that we should desire Him.
He is despised and rejected by men,
A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief.
And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him;
He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.
Surely He has borne our griefs
And carried our sorrows;
Yet we esteemed Him stricken,
Smitten by God, and afflicted.
But He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And by His stripes we are healed.
All we like sheep have gone astray;
We have turned, every one, to his own way;
And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.
He was oppressed and He was afflicted,
Yet He opened not His mouth;
He was led as a lamb to the slaughter,
And as a sheep before its shearers is silent,
So He opened not His mouth.
He was taken from prison and from judgment,
And who will declare His generation?
For He was cut off from the land of the living;
For the transgressions of My people He was stricken.
And they made His grave with the wicked—
But with the rich at His death,
Because He had done no violence,
Nor was any deceit in His mouth.10 Yet it pleased the
Lord to bruise Him;He has put Him to grief.
When You make His soul an offering for sin,
He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days,
And the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in His hand.
11 He shall see the labor of His soul, and be satisfied.
By His knowledge My righteous Servant shall justify many,
For He shall bear their iniquities.
12 Therefore I will divide Him a portion with the great,
And He shall divide the spoil with the strong,
Because He poured out His soul unto death,
And He was numbered with the transgressors,
And He bore the sin of many,And made intercession
for
the transgressors.
Isaiah 53.

15 “The Lord your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me
from your midst,
from your brethren. Him you shall hear,18 I will
raise up for them a Prophet like
you from among their brethren,
and will put My words in His mouth, and He shall
speak to them all
that I command Him.
19 And it shall be that whoever will not hear
My words, which He speaks in My name, I will require it of him.
Deuteronomy 18:15,18-19

“I will declare the decree:
The Lord has said to Me,
‘You are My Son,
Today I have begotten You.
Ask of Me, and I will give You
The nations for Your inheritance,
And the ends of the earth for Your possession.
You shall break them with a rod of iron;
You shall dash them to pieces like a potter’s vessel.’ ”
Psalms 2:7-9

Indeed He says,
‘It is too small a thing that You should be My Servant
To raise up the tribes of Jacob,
And to restore the preserved ones of Israel;
I will also give You as a light to the Gentiles,
That You should be My salvation to the ends of the earth.’ ”
Isaiah 49:6

14 Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold,
the virgin
shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name
Immanuel.
Isaiah 7:14

My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?
Why are You so far from helping Me,
And from the words of My groaning?
Psalms 22:1

They divide My garments among them,
And for My clothing they cast lots.
Psalms 22:18
