Remember those who are truly saved live a holy life, pursue holy things, think holy thoughts, do holy things. Holy as in what honors God, not what we define as holy in our subjective, rationalizing, carnal worldly views and habits, founded in emotions, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and pride of life. Does your life conform and submit to the word of God and keeps His commandments? Is there repentance and guilt in your mind and soul, having a guilt and shame for the sins you have committed in your life? Do you truly hate the evil world order established by Satan in worldliness and his system of evil which is sin established on all platforms? Do you see a decreasing pattern of sin in your life? If you are truly saved you have a pattern of obedience, a pattern of Godliness, of affection for holiness. A pattern of the believer’s life is pursuit of holiness and holy things. Do you pray to God and seek correction, direction and perfecting in holiness with an intense desire to conform your life to the mind of Christ in obedience and read His word the Bible as your way and direction to pursue all things? Do you put Christ first in your life and see a ongoing decrease in your former pattern of self-worship, which is idolatry, self centered thinking and living apart, separated from Godliness? Do you give up your worldliness and become a worshiper of Christ in truth and Spirit?
Where by Jesus Christ said in John 14:6 “ I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father (God) accept through Me.”
Sin as a life pattern and ongoing, without seeing a continuous and steady decrease and an increase in holiness and the things of God are incompatible with salvation.
Christ says in John 6:63 “It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.”
Therefore one who is truly saved has a fervent desire to give all oversight in all things to the spirit of God, giving up self and living for Christ.
As Paul said in Philippians 1: 21-22: “ For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain. 22 But if I live on in the flesh, this will mean fruit from my labor;…”
For Jesus Christ said in John 15:5 “I am the vine, you are the branches; the one who remains in Me, and I in him bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.”
And 1 John 2:3-5 “ Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. 4 He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5 But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him.”
